I am so excited it's October! Seriously one of my favorite times of the year. What I think of when it's October and the Fall is...hoodies come out, everyone snuggles around a nice warm fire, cute decorations and CANDY!!! lol just kidding. It also means rain and lots of it. That and fog and when you live in the mountains like we do, this is what you get driving down the road.

Not gonna lie, it was pretty cool looking. First we were like wow! Then we were like WOW!! And then we were like, wooow. Yeah.

So this past weekend, Jesse and I were able to go to Spokane. We took a different route than normal.

We took a Ferry (obviously) but TomTom makes it

look like we were driving across the water.

We got a pretty good kick out of that.

While in Spokane, I got to go to Hobby Lobby *eek* where I found some uber cute stuff and more stuffs for a project (yes another one), but I'll show you that later. We also went to a pumpkin patch. They didn't have any hay rides which was a little sad, but they still had some fun stuff. And apparently this place is HUGE for the Spokane area. There were like a bajillion people there. It's a family owned farm that just lets people come in, go through the maze, pet the ponies, and pick out your own pumpkins from their field. You of course have to pay for them, but they've got a huge variety. Big, small, round, fat and just plain weird looking. I think I had the most fun picking out the little ones. I got a bunch of them. I'll have to post them later when I take a picture. They are currently residing around our front door with the bigger pumpkins.

Now at the pumpkin patch they had a thing called "Punkin Chuckin" (dare you to say that 5x fast). Basically they took some farm equipment that deals with pressurized air and they shoot pumpkins out of it. When I first saw this my immediate thought was, "I can totally see Dad making one of these!" If you know my dad (which you probably do considering I think only family ever reads my blog) then you would agree. We took a bunch of separate videos of this thing and once we get it all spliced together I'll post it for you.But seriously we wanted to ask the people if we could use the thing to shoot our pumpkins to our house for us. It's that awesome!

Halloween

October has come and gone and now it is November. But for before we move onto November let me tell you all of the fun we had this year for Halloween! I was a minion from "Despicable Me" this year. How I decided this was I found a minion t-shirt at Rue21 and I LOVE the minions. So I bought it, wore it on Halloween, and BAM I'm a minion. =)

My parents also came up for the Halloween weekend and on Friday a bunch of us went to the Heritage Center's corn maze. It was tons of fun. There was also the Haunted Hollow (which mom and dad went through and I was very surprised they did). We had a ton of fun screaming with each other, laughing at each other for screaming, jumping off of large stacks of hay bales and finding our way through the corn maze. Hey everyone. I hope you all had a Happy Halloween. Jesse and I sure did. On Thursday we carved our pumpkins with one of our neighbors. I decided to go with a pattern and Jesse decided to wing it with his own creative design. Mine is the headless horseman and Jesse's is the scary looking monkey. Or at least that is what it looks like to me ;).

On Friday we went to the famous Haunted Mill that is in Teton (8 miles away from Rexburg). I had gone to it last year with a friend and was scared so much and had so much fun that I knew I had to take Jesse this year. Needless to say, even though I had already been through it before, I was still scared half to death and screaming majority of the time. Jesse was very brave and didn't scream once, but he later said that it was probably the scariest haunted thing he had ever been to. It takes about an hour to get through and you go through four floors of this old run down mill. There's a waterfall and suspension bridge and you even go through and underground mine! It's really cool. If you are ever in Rexburg during Halloween, I definitely encourage you to go. That is if you like that kind of stuff.

On the actual night of Halloween we finally lit our pumpkins and waited maybe about 5 seconds for any trick-or-treaters. We actually saw a couple walking around with two little kids and thought they would come to the door...but alas they didn't. So I guess now Jesse and I will have to eat our own Halloween candy of Reese's Cups, Reese's Pieces, and Snickers all by ourselves ;). We also went and watched the movie "Surrogates" in the cheap theatre. Good movie. We really liked it. It wasn't our favorite, but we still liked enough we'll probably get it when it comes out on DVD. So that was our first Halloween together. We wish we could have been in Logan because we heard Brittany was throwing a Halloween party that we didn't want to miss but alas we couldn't afford it. Hope you all had a merry Halloween and I hope nobody gets too many cavities ;)

Mario Video

I know this is ridiculously late but hey better late than never right? So I hope you all remember that my roommates and I dressed up as Mario, Luigi, and crew for Halloween this past year for our ward Halloween party. Well what you did not know is that we also made a video together while still in costume. We've tried to upload it on the internet before but it never worked. Until NOW....BWAHAHAH! It'll make me feel better.

So I just thought I would come and post some pictures of my AWESOME roommates and I. We dressed up for our ward Halloween party. All of the FHE groups had to have a theme and our apartment was video games (our FHE group didn't cooperate and all of them didn't do video games). But we all went to DI and picked out our outfits and here are the master pieces!!!
