Halloween

October has come and gone and now it is November. But for before we move onto November let me tell you all of the fun we had this year for Halloween! I was a minion from "Despicable Me" this year. How I decided this was I found a minion t-shirt at Rue21 and I LOVE the minions. So I bought it, wore it on Halloween, and BAM I'm a minion. =)

My parents also came up for the Halloween weekend and on Friday a bunch of us went to the Heritage Center's corn maze. It was tons of fun. There was also the Haunted Hollow (which mom and dad went through and I was very surprised they did). We had a ton of fun screaming with each other, laughing at each other for screaming, jumping off of large stacks of hay bales and finding our way through the corn maze. Here are a "few" pictures showing all of the fun we had.

Snickers

We have a kitty! Yay!!! I'm so excited and so is Jesse. Our kitty is a boy and his name is Snickers! I have this thing with naming my pets after food. The last cat I had was orange and his name was Cheerio. Snickers is 8-9 months and is a Black and Gold Tabby. We adopted him from the Cache Humane Society and he is the perfect little kitty. He's very chill, loves affection from anybody, and is super easy to train (i.e. not scratch the furniture). The Humane Society already had him potty-trained so that was good for us. He loves to play. Especially with his homemade toys, which are an old shoelace; some fake grass thing from when I was making my Fall wreath and just about any cord he can try and get ahold of. However when I say his name in a stern voice he'll stop and look at me like he thinks he's innocent. Good thing about him though is he likes to play with himself so all you have to do is sit back and giggle while watching him role over himself.

Campout

Sooo I know these are a little past due, buuut here are some pictures from the campout that some of my family and I went on during Labor Day weekend. Terra and Glen were the ones who were able to get the campsite for us. It's really nice and super pretty. It was really fun. Other than the part where Jesse and I forgot blankets. Good thing Terra and Glen (is there one "n" or two "n's" in his name) were to our rescue on that one. Also good thing Bryce and Stephanie were able to borrow a tent from Stephanie's parents for us. THANK YOU!!! So enjoy the pictures and at least I can say I did something naturistic this summer.

Chopping wood

"Mommm...you're embarrassing me..."

This is how we kept the juice cold. It was very effective.

For future reference, don't let Brittany get ahold of the ax.

Roastin mellows and starbursts...=D

So I realize that it has indeed been a month since I last posted. In fact the inspiration (or like kick in the toosh) to blog is because my sister-in-law just posted a bunch of pictures and it reminded me that i need to as well. So get ready for lots of info and pictures. Woopy!

1st Topic: What's going on with Jesse and I?

We are still at Disney World doing the same thing as yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that. However we did finally make it to the Orlando, FL temple. It's HUGE, and very beautiful. One very striking thing about it is there are these two HUGE pillars, like GIGANTIC pillars that seriously remind me of Solomon's Temple. And there are palm trees everywhere on the grounds. I'm still getting used to seeing palm trees everywhere I go.

2nd Topic: School...USU?

Have we heard from USU. Why yes we have. Jesse finally had an interview with a Mr. So-and-So and just chatted with him about life, the mystery of the cosmos, USU's football team and other sports, oh and of course the HR program. lol nah mainly just life and the HR program. Mr. So-and-So is actually the Director of Graduate Studies in Human Resources. So it was a pretty important phone call. It seemed to go well enough and he said we would hear back from USU in about a week or two. The interview was last Tuesday and we are absolutely dying to hear back from them! So cross your fingers and pray that USU sends us something soon (and that hopefully it's an acceptance)!

3rd Topic: PICTURES!!!

This is the little froggy we found in front of our door one day.
We almost opened the door without noticing him.
lol He just wanted to come in and visit us.

M&M World!!! *chorus of angels*

I was craving blueberry pancakes one day.
So Jesse made me a blueberry pancake! =)

Sheikra at Busch Gardens. All time fav. Roller Coaster

Jesse's dad and brothers came to visit us for a week.
So we of course took them to Disney, Busch Gardens, and the beach.

the funny little turtles stickin their feet up in the air.
