The beginning of the year Jesse and I were only married for four-five months and were on our way to Orlando, FL to work for Disney World. We both worked in the Magic Kingdom and had a ton of fun. Ashley worked at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Jesse worked up on Main Street. We've never played in so many theme parks before. We went to all of Disney's parks, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens in Tampa. We loved playing at the parks, going to the beach and enjoying the fine warm weather.
But, of course it had to come to an end. After finally receiving the good news that Jesse was accepted in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at USU we were off to visit Illinois for a month and sell watermelons for Jesse's grandpa before we made the rest of the way to Utah. Ashley was lucky and didn't have to wake up early in the morning to go get the melons, she just helped sell them with her darn good looks. ;)
While in Illinois we were so very lucky to find an apartment online so we would be ready and have a place when we moved. Moving day came again and off we were on our next adventure. So far our adventure in Utah has been fun. We made it to and past our first anniversary. We added a cat, Snickers, to our little family and couldn't be happier with him. Ashley got a job at Coppin's Hallmark and is greatly enjoying it. She works in the warehouse and we guess her job title is secretary amongst other things. Jesse just finished his first semester in grad school and although we both didn't like it we thankfully both made it through. =) We're crossing our fingers that this next semester wont be as busy. However, at some point Jesse will be going to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France. Spouse aren't allowed to go unfortunately.
We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father who has blessed us with so much this year. He helped us get into Graduate School and helped Ashley get such a great job that she enjoys. We know that He loves us and we love Him in return. We hope everyone had as memorable a year as ever. We've had so much fun this past year and we're excited to see what comes in the next.

Lost Credit Card & A Bag of Poop
One thing I have learned from working at Coppin's Hallmark is that I never want to work in retail around Christmas time EVER again. Even if it is online. Ever since after Thanksgiving I've been getting busier and busier at work. Mondays were always the worst because it includes whatever came in over the weekend. My boss told me that the highest order number they had ever reached in the past was up around 150. The record high this year...400. I hated my life on those days. But this last Friday was the last day we guaranteed before Christmas shipping and we had to get EVERY order out by 5:00 p.m. Needless to say I have never worked that fast before. But now things should slow down (hopefully).
But that is not what this post is about. This last Friday was SO stressful. Not only did I have to get every order out by 5, I had to meet my mom at 5 too before she went to Layton to prepare for my brother's wedding the next day. I met her and my dad at Hallmark to see if they wanted to take advantage of my employee discount. They didn't but I did =). However, when i went to pay I noticed my credit card wasn't in my wallet! Thank goodness I had my debit card too. Afterwards I called Jesse, told him the stressing news and hurried home. We tore the house, the car, and my purse apart searching for the stupid thing. Oh and during this we were preparing to go to my sister's to watch her little baby overnight for their anniversary. So we're getting things ready, searching the house, and I realize we should make sure our cat's food, water, and litter box are all cleaned and ready for us to be gone for a day. I was the one who cleaned the litter box and bagged it up. I was going to throw it in the dumpster on the way to the car. So we're headed to the car when I had the thought that I should call Zumiez because that was the last place I had used it. I called them and Thankfully! they had it. I felt so relieved. I was just going to have Jesse get it so he could drop me off at my sisters so I could start watching her. When we get there I started taking our own bags out of the trunk when I realized I had an extra bag in my hand. At first I couldn't figure out what it was. But in a split second I realized that I had been carrying Snicker's poop bag in my hand the whole way to my sister's and didn't even notice it. I guess that proves how distressed and distracted I was.

Morning Boredom
So this morning I was running late to work (on purpose) and as I was driving I saw a dead deer on the side of the road. As I saw this my mind began to run away with me and I created the scenario of me texting my boss that I my car had become best friends with a deer and that's why I was late. My mind ran away with me even more and it turned into my car and the deer became best friends, but then the deer said something overly offensive about the color of my car (let's call it Bob). So then Bob became angry and hit the deer. But wait, after thinking of all of this I then came up with a full story of the deer, Larry, and my car, Bob.
"Hi, my name is Bob and I'm a Monte Carlo. See that's me down below.

Well, things all started about four days ago while I was driving my owner to work. She's a pretty nice gall. I like her a lot. She's nice to me, except I'm starting to get tired of all of the Christmas music. Anyway, so four days ago I saw a deer in the trees. I saw him, he saw me, we nodded at each other and that was it. The next day I saw him again. We nodded to each other again and then he started to follow us on our way to work. We started talking and found out that we had a lot in common. We both liked to run, now I liked tarred roads and he didn't like roads at all but we've decided to not talk about that. The next two days we became close rather quickly. But it was on the third fateful day when Larry, by the way the deer's name is Larry, said something how he didn't like the color red. He just kept going on and on and then he said some other stuff and more stuff. I think it had something to do with some reindeer with a red nose. I think he's some type of celebrity. Well he kept saying more stuff and finally I couldn't take it anymore. So I hit him. Right in the kisser. Just like Rocky does in the movies. And so that is why my owner is late to work. See it's not her fault. I just decided that it was time to end mine and Larry's friendship."
Ok so that was lame but that's what happens when...
1) I'm late to work
2) I'm bored
3) I really don't want to go to work so i'm looking for excuses

Memories
Maybe it's just me but have you ever gone through your songs list and when you hear one it makes you remember a place. It could be where you first heard it or you were doing something specific while listening to it. As for me, when I listen to some songs they make me think of where I was living at the time. Take Florida for example. Anytime I hear "Smile" by Uncle Cracker, or "Hey Soul Sister", by Train, I always remember walking through the tunnels to get to work at Disney World. They always had those songs playing. Not only that but when I drink Blue Powerade it makes me think of Florida too. That's what I always drank at work on my breaks. That and it makes me flashback to walking out of my apartment and walking over to the pool feeling the wonderful sunshine and seeing all of the palm trees. So hears a challenge, albeit a weird one, go through your songs list and make a list of what ones remind you of something or somewhere. It may be something very interesting you discover while doing this. And by all means make your own post with your own song list.
Mt. Vernon, IL (adolescent teenage years)
"Here Comes the Boom" - Nelly
"Hotel California" - Eagles (I was so in love with this song in Junior High. I always listened to it when riding the bus to school)
"Yeah" - Usher
BYU-Idaho, Rexburg (early college career/pre-marriage)
"I'm Yours" - Jason Mraz
"Home" - Michael Buble
Logan, UT (when I lived with Brittany and Malone/dating Jesse)
"Heartless" - Kanye West
"Pop Goes My Heart" - Music and Lyrics
BYU-Idaho, Rexburg (post marriage)
"Fireflies" - Owl City
"Love Drunk" - Boys Like Girls
"Funhouse" - Pink
Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida
"Nothin On You" - B.o.B ft. Bruno Mars
"Hey Soul Sister" - Train
"Smile" - Uncle Cracker
Logan, UT (Now!)
"Grenade" - Bruno Mars
"We No Speak American0" - Yolando Be Cool vs. D Cup (this is my alarm)

More Projects
This weekend was so much fun. I was able to go out with my best friend and just have a girl's day all day! We wandered Main Street's stores and found some really cute stuff in some places...and not so cute in other places. But it was all fun anyway. Not only that but I went to Hobby Lobby, just like I said I would. While there I of course had to take advantage of the 50% off sales on floral stuff. So I got a cute pre-lit garland that is now running along our banister. As well as a glass bowl type thing that we'll be using for a my friend/brother's fiancé's bridal shower that is coming up. And of course floral stuff for a new arrangement. There was a lot more glitter involved in this one too so I had to vacuum afterwards. But it was so much fun. Even Snickers (our cat) had fun with it. Granted that was more for the fact that he like swatting at it and then running away when I swatted at him. But here is what it looks like. Sorry for the bad quality of the photo. I have an old camera.

It's Coming!!!
It's coming! =) That wonderful season when everyone starts thinking nicer thoughts and hopefully more of others than themselves! And I can't hold it back. The Christmas decorations are going to be coming out either this weekend or the next. So take that all you early Christmas decorating/music haters. I'm even gonna go to Hobby Lobby and see if I can't come up with a cute wintery craft. I was thinking of using the same pot thingy I used for my fall craft. Cause I put all of the floral stuff in one of those big green foam balls. So all I have to do is lift it out and put in what I come up with next. Oooohh, just sitting here writing about it is making my mind whirl with ideas.
But you all have got to admit (even if you're an early Christmas decorating/music hater) that you've started to think of what you want for Christmas. I want a Love Sac. Like a BIG one. I blame one of the girls I visit teach for this too ;). She has a Love Sac and when I saw it I just knew I had to have one. If any of you don't know what you want for Christmas or you don't know what to get for your mom/sister/aunt/brother/cousin twice removed, you should go to Coppin's Hallmark. They have a lot of really cute stuff on their website. But don't just look online. They have even more in their stores!

Halloween
October has come and gone and now it is November. But for before we move onto November let me tell you all of the fun we had this year for Halloween! I was a minion from "Despicable Me" this year. How I decided this was I found a minion t-shirt at Rue21 and I LOVE the minions. So I bought it, wore it on Halloween, and BAM I'm a minion. =)

My parents also came up for the Halloween weekend and on Friday a bunch of us went to the Heritage Center's corn maze. It was tons of fun. There was also the Haunted Hollow (which mom and dad went through and I was very surprised they did). We had a ton of fun screaming with each other, laughing at each other for screaming, jumping off of large stacks of hay bales and finding our way through the corn maze. Here are a "few" pictures showing all of the fun we had.
Well we hope you all had a fun and candy filled Halloween. If not don't worry. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. So exercise while you can and get ready to gain some weight!
